New Covers

New covers from out and about lately. . .

I love this cover!!  The color is just lovely and I am so excited for a new series from Katharine Ashe!  Look for I Married the Duke Aug 27th.

Lily Dalton is a new author and her debut, Never Desire a Duke sounds very intriguing!  The cover is just perfect for the holidays and the wintery setting of this book.  I will be grabbing this one Sept 24th!

A new Maya Banks highlander?  Yes please!  Super sexy cover off set by a nice bold blue.  Highland Ever After, book three in a series, will be out Sept 24th.

I love all the covers on this cover!!  The green just pops but the red and purple add a lovely background.  I have really enjoyed Erin Knightley's books and I am very eager for Flirting with Fortune, out Sept 3rd.

Gah!  I can not wait for this book!!!  Is it Oct 1st yet?!?  And what a sigh worthy cover.  The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie is going to be such a wonderful addition to this amazing series, I know it :)

Oooh, look at the pretty red dress!  And the wonderful attention to detail, such as the quill (which Theresa Romain said is part of the story).  I love when a cover matches a book and It Takes Two to Tangle, the start of a new series, looks to fit the bill nicely.  Very eager for Sept 3rd!

Well, I believe I have all of these pre-ordered and I really adore all the covers.  What about you?  Which ones are you most eager for or are drawn to because of the cover?

New Covers

Some lovely new covers shared this week--

The Short and Fascinating Tale of Angelina Whitcombe is a new title from Sabrina Darby.  She has one previous book of novellas out and I'm not sure yet where this one falls on length.  Not much info about it yet but she shared the cover this week and I love the boldness and simplicity of it!  It works well for the long title.  This will be out July 31st.

Oh...I really like this cover!!  I can't quite decide if that is purple or pink but either way I like it :)  The hero looks very dashing and I like the gloves on the heroine.  It fits in well with her debut which I always appreciate.  Look for A Taste for Scandal in December.

Katharine Ashe finally shared her new cover and I have to say I am really loving all the gold lately!  I think this might be my favorite cover of hers so far! How a Lady Weds a Rogue will be out Sept 25th.

Oh, so pretty! Not Proper Enough is book two in Carolyn Jewel's Reforming the Scoundrels series and one I have pre-ordered for its September 4th release.

That's all for now! :)  I really like them all, how about you?

Happy Release Day!!

Here are some of the wonderful books out today!  Enjoy :)

When a Scot Loves a Lady (Falcon Club, #1)The Husband Hunt (Madison Sisters, #3)The Tattooed Duke (The Writing Girl Romance, #3)

Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea (Royal Entourage, #1)A Rogue By Any Other Name (The Rules of Scoundrels, #1)Blame It on Bath (The Truth About the Duke, #2)

I have had the pleasure of reading four out of this six and really enjoyed them all and I will be picking up When A Scot Loves A Lady and The Husband Hunt today to add to my collection!  And I have my signed copy of A Rogue By Any Other Name on its way from Sarah MacLean's local indie store, yay!!

Touch of a Rogue (Touch of Seduction, #2)Lessons in Loving A Laird

These two titles are also going on to read list.  I have received an ARC of Touch of a Rogue so I am anxious to see how I like it since it does have a touch of paranormal, which I usually stay clear of.  And I am slowing building my own Highlander collection to read someday in the not to distant future.

Which books are you most looking forward to reading today?  If nothing has caught your eye (and I find that hard to believe!) we can expect some new releases in just a week from Jade Lee, Madeline Hunter and Renee Bernard.

New Covers

Some lovely new covers for your viewing enjoyment this week.  Well, this started with just four covers but I keep seeing more so it is a bit long now!  Enjoy :)

First up is a debut that I am eagerly awaiting, Secrets of a Wedding Night. It doesn't come out until Sept 25th (boo!) but Valerie Bowman shared her beautiful cover on Twitter this past week. Love the blue and that we get to see her garter.

These two covers are for the upcoming books from Jayne Fresina, who is a new to me author but looks like she has been self publishing and these could be her traditional print debuts?  I'm not positive about that though!  Based on the titles and the cuteness of the covers I am expecting these to be light-hearted fun and I am looking forward to reading them! The Most Improper Miss Sophie Valentine releases June 5th and I don't see a release date for The Wicked Wedding of Miss Ellie Vyne yet.

I'm a little on fence about this next cover.  I love the color of the dress but I don't particularly like the dress itself.  I like the man peeking through her arm though.  Look for The Mad Lord's Daughter in August.

Michele Sinclair is another new to me author and hello gorgeous cover!  I will definitely be picking up A Woman Made for Pleasure in August!

Another debut! This one from Nina Rowan will be releasing in Sept...so far away!  If you head over to her website, there is a great little video about the book.  I'm really looking forward to this one!

Here is the sexy cover for the second in Katharine Ashe's Falcon Club series.  I can't wait to see the step back!! (Well, if there is one)  How to Be a Proper Lady releases June 26th.

Gah!  LOVE!  I can not wait for this one!  Scandal Wears Satin also releases June 26th.

Yes, yes another new to me author.  Where am I going to find the time to read them all? The Casanova Code looks to be the start of a new series called The Rake Patrol.  It should be out June 5th.

And lastly, a gorgeous purple one from Mia Marlowe.  This is book three in her Touch of Seduction series and Touch of a Scoundrel looks be out July 31st.

Whew!  Quite a few covers popped up this week!  Which one caught your eye?  Are any of them new to you authors as well?

New Covers

Since I have had very little time to read this past week, I thought I would post some of the fabulous covers that some authors posted (mostly on Facebook) this past week or so.  First up is Shana Galens The Making of a Rogue which is now being titled The Rogue Pirates Bride.  I have yet to read the previous two books in this series but based on how much I loved Lord and Lady Spy, I will get on that before her newest is released in February 2012.  I really like this cover...the blue really pops and I love a female with a sword!  They just need to button up her shirt a bit :)

Next up is the upcoming April 2012 release from Stefanie Sloane, The Saint Who Stole My Heart: A Regency Rogues Novel. This is book four in her Regency Rogues series and is another bluish cover with some pretty yellow.

Here is the cover for Kate Nobles If I Fall coming in April 2012 as well.  Very pretty again and different to see a full face shot head on...they always seem to be more profile like or headless.

Now this one I'm sort of on the fence about, Meredith Durans March 2012 release, At Your Pleasure. Again, nice to see a full face shot and its very sexy but it's just ok I guess to me.  Maybe it looks better in person...

Katherine Ashe and Tessa Dare both revealed upcoming covers for there books on there fun blog, The Ballroom Blog. When a Scot Loves a Lady is by Katharine Ashe and is set for release in March and is very pretty in red while Tessa Dare is set to release Once Upon a Winters Eve on Nov 15th as a holiday novella for her new Spindles Cove series.  The green seems to be a perfect choice for the holidays.

Overall, a nice variety of colors that will be sure to grab your attention next spring!  Have you seen any covers that you just love lately?  Do you enjoy all of the above covers as well?

Upcoming August releases

Here are a few of the upcoming historical romance releases:

Arriving on August 2nd we have some very eagerly anticipated releases including The Many Sins of Lord Cameron (Berkley Sensation), A Midnight Dance, and It's Always Been You (which I mistakenly thought came out the end of July, sorry!).

The Many Sins of Lord Cameron (Berkley Sensation)It's Always Been YouA Midnight Dance

Also coming out on August 2nd is a reprint of The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Berkley Sensation) which a much better cover this time around!  No missing hand in this one :)

The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Berkley Sensation)The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie (Leisure Historical Romance)
New cover (love) vs old cover with missing hand, lol

And a few other historicals that sound good to me :)  A new one from Judith James on Aug 23, The King's Courtesan (Hqn).  On Aug 30 we see new releases from Maya Banks, In Bed with a Highlander, Sylvia Day, Seven Years To Sin and Maggie Robinson, Mistress by Marriage.  Also on Aug 30 comes the reprint of one of Lisa Kleypas original books from 1988, Love Come to Me.  Here is hoping they reissue more of her backlist so those $30+ prices for these oldies but goodies go away.  I just have a hard time plunking down that much cash for one book :/

And here are all of Avons August 30 releases.  I have already read Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue: A Cynster Novel (Cynster Bride) (really good!) and I have One Night in London: The Truth About the Duke and The Seduction of Scandal (Scandals and Seductions) ready to go from Netgalley and both sound good.  I still need to get caught up on Katherine Ashes trilogy but the short story (A Lady's Wish) I read by her was excellent and I am looking forward to the rest of her books.  I am really looking forward to Tessa Dares newest, A Night to Surrender (Spindle Cove) as it is the start of an interesting sounding trilogy!  Also releasing is a new one from Jenny Brown, Star Crossed Seduction (Lords of the Seventh House) and a reprint from Lynsay Sands, The Deed.
