New Covers

New covers from this week. . .

First up is the lovely cover for an author I really enjoy, Vicky Dreiling.  A Season for Sin is going to be a prequel novella setting the stage for her new series but it does feature a hero from her previous books, Bell!  Yay!  This one will be out Sept 4th but I can't find any info when the new full length will be out so I guessing next year so it looks to be a little bit of a wait yet so I may wait to read this one since I personally don't love prequel novellas out months before the next story.  Hmm, we will see, lol :)

Liana LeFey is a new author I believe and I adore her cover for her upcoming release, Countess So Shameless!  I love the title too!  No official blurb yet but she shared her gorgeous cover on Facebook this week and I know I have it preordered for its November 6th release!

The second title in Tracy Anne Warren's The Princess Brides series and has a very lovely cover!  I didn't love the first title (I have a hard time with eighteen year old heroines even though it was perfectly acceptable at that time!) but am I eager for this book!  Look for it Nov 26th.

Megan Frampton is also a new to me author and she shared her lovely new cover for her upcoming April 2013 title, Hero of My Heart.  I read the blurb on her site here and it sounds really good!  Since this is being published under the LoveSwept line under Random House I am guessing it will be an ebook so I will keep my eye out on this one since the lovely cover has caught my attention :)

And lastly Juliana Gray shared her cover for her third book, A Duke Never Yields.  Her debut is out next month and I'm looking forward to it as it got a great review in RT Magazine.  I really like the simplicity and prettiness of this cover.  Look for it February 5th.

Well, that is all for now!  Hope you added a few to your pile, I know I did :)

Happy Release Day!!

Overall, April is looking to be a bit on the quiet side for historical romances for me but today there are a few I can't wait to pick up!

A Lady's RevengeThe Princess and the Peer (The Princess Brides, #1)If I FallThe Duke's Perfect Wife (Highland Pleasures, #4)

I have not been in the mood for suspense right now but I am still looking forward to the debut from Tracey Devlyn, A Lady's Revenge. I really love the cover on this one as well! A book about royalty? Yup, that's right up my alley as well so I will be picking up The Princess and the Peer as well. I have heard good things about Kate Noble and I hope to read her books soon and her newest is out today as well. But the book I am most looking forward to is Jennifer Ashley's The Duke's Perfect Wife! Hart's story, yay!

About That Night (FBI, # 3)

And even though I don't read many contemporaries anymore, Julie James is still one auto buy author for me and I am so excited to have Sawyer....er, Kyles story today too!

At the end of the month look for new releases from Stefanie Sloane, Julianne MacLean, Cathy Maxwell, Cara Elliott and an anthology featuring new stories from Delilah Marvelle and Kasey Michaels.   Ok, fine.  Maybe it's not going to be such a quiet release month after all, lol!

So, any of todays releases on your must pick up today and read list?

New covers!

Here are some newish covers I noticed this week while out and about cyberworld.

Seduction of Lady X is book three in the series The Secrets of Hadley Green and I'm loving the blue against the purple.  It releases March 27th.
I'm not sure if this is book two following Samantha Grace's debut novel but I believe it is. Lady Amelia's Mess and a Half releases on June 1st and I'm really looking forward to it!
How to Romance a Rake is book two in Manda Collins Ugly Ducklings series (love the series name!) and this cover goes together very nicely with her debut book. Look for it on July 31st.
Well, this cover has grabbed my attention! You don't see much orange and after seeing the summary of the storyline, I am quite anxious to read this debut. I see it is up on Netgalley so if my time allows, I may grab it. This one releases April 1st.
The Princess and the Peer is the start of a Princess Brides trilogy and I have yet to read anything my Tracy Anne Warren and since I love anything with royalty in it, I hope to read this one :) I love the cover as well and we should see it on April 3rd.
A Gentleman Says "I Do" is book five in The Rogues' Dynasty series and I'm loving the red and the book summary. This one releases May 1st.
The Duchess of Love looks to be getting started with Bedding Lord Ned on June 5th. It also appears there will be a enovella called The Duchess of Love on April 24th to give us a little taste.

So what, if any, covers grabbed your attention?  Any new books added to your wishlist?

Upcoming July Releases

Here are a few of the upcoming historical romance books being releases in July~

These two were just released today from Sourcebooks Casablanca and both look promising for new to me authors:
A Gentleman Never TellsJust One Season in London

Here are the new releases from Avon on July 26:
Wicked in Your Arms (Forgotten Princesses) The Bride Wore ScarletThe Amorous Education of Celia Seaton (Burgundy Club)
A Scoundrel's Surrender (Billingham Bastards)The Bed and the Bachelor (Byrons of Braebourne)
I have Miranda Nevilles ready to read from Netgalley and am looking forward to it.  But once again, I want to read everything Avon is publishing for the month.  I will probably wait on the new Warren book as it is part of a series and I have to read in order otherwise...hear you go Avon....take my money, lol!

Here are a couple other releases for the month that I am looking forward to as well:
The Taming of the Rake (Hqn)The Sinner Who Seduced Me: A Regency Rogues Novel

I have the Kasey Michaels and Jennifer Haymore novels from Netgalley and they are both new to me authors so looking forward to trying them!  Very excited about the new Victoria Dahl....she is one of my favorite contemporary authors but I wasn't thrilled with her last historical I read (A Little Bit Wild) but I love the cover of this one so heres hoping I like it a bit more!  The Sinner Who Seduced Me: A Regency Rogues Novel is the third in her Regency Rogues books and while I liked the first one (The Devil in Disguise: A Regency Rogues Novel) I wasn't thrilled with it, especially the editing but I do The Angel in My Arms: A Regency Rogues Novel on the way from the library to read so I am hoping the editing is better and the story moves a bit better because I love these covers and the author is so friendly on Facebook and I really want to enjoy her books!

Overall, not a bad month!  Lots of goodies to choose from and still many more I didn't mention!  Hope you can find something for yourself~
